Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know to be ready to rise

The Experience

  • What does "Unbridled" actually mean for this retreat? It means freedom from the "harness" of daily expectations. We’ve created a container where you can let go of your titles, roles, and to-do lists to simply exist, breathe, and move toward your highest good.

  • Do I need any specific experience to attend the workshops? Not at all. Whether you are a seasoned seeker or this is your first time stepping into a retreat space, whether you are an experienced yogi or just a beginner, the workshops are designed to be accessible, intuitive, and deeply personal.

  • What is the "vibe" of the retreat? Think of it as a balance of deep soul-work and deep rest. There will be structured moments for workshops and circles, but also ample "unbridled reign" to wander the forest, journal, read by the stream, daydream or simply be still.

Travel & Logistics

  • How do I get to the retreat site? On July 3rd there will be a coordinated pickup time and location at Lihue Airport. Don’t worry it’s hard to get lost in our little island airport.

  • What should I pack? Comfort is queen here and the Koke’e State Park tends to have warm sunny days and cool evenings. Think breathable layers, sturdy shoes for forest walks, a journal, yoga clothes, swimwear and of course, your yoga mat. If you are staying in the Cabin or the Lodge all linens will be provided. If you are staying in the Mokihana Bunkhouse Camp you will want to also include a sleeping bag. A detailed packing list will be sent to you 30 days before we gather.

  • I have dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate me? Absolutely. Our meals are a core part of the "Recharge" process. Once you book, you’ll receive a form to share any allergies or dietary needs (Vegan, GF, etc.) so our kitchen can nourish you properly.

The "Why"

  • Can I come alone? Most of our participants do! This is a beautiful opportunity to connect with a new community of like-minded people, but it is also a profound space for a solo "reset."

  • Can I bring a friend or a Partner? Absolutely! Special packages are available for couples, friends and groups.

  • What if I’m not sure I’m ready to "Rise"? The beauty of the retreat is that it meets you where you are. If you just need to Release and Rediscover for now, that is more than enough. The "Rise" happens in its own time.

Lodging & Investment

  • What is included in the "all-inclusive" price? Your package covers transportation from the Lihue Airport, your chosen accommodations, all workshops and materials, all chef-prepared meals, and full access to the common grounds.

  • I’m on a budget—are there options for me? Yes! We believe this experience should be accessible. We offer a variety of tiers, from shared sanctuary spaces that foster community to private suites for those seeking more solitude.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life happens. However, because our retreats require significant upfront planning and non-refundable commitments to our venues and partners, we adhere to the following policy:

  • Non-Refundable Deposit: All bookings require a $500 deposit to secure your spot. This deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred to another person for the same retreat dates.

  • 90+ Days Before Retreat: Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the start date will receive a full refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • 60–90 Days Before Retreat: Cancellations made within this window will receive a 50% refund of the total retreat price (excluding the deposit).

  • Less than 60 Days Before Retreat: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat start date. This includes "no-shows" or arriving late/leaving early.

  • Transfer Option: If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your spot to a friend or family member at no extra cost, provided you notify us at least 7 days in advance.

  • If We Cancel: In the rare event that we must cancel the retreat (e.g., due to low enrollment), you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made to us. Please note we are not responsible for any personal travel expenses, such as flights or visas.

Travel Insurance Recommendation
Because our policy is firm regardless of the reason for cancellation (including illness or family emergencies), we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. We suggest a policy that includes "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) coverage. You can compare plans through providers like InsureMyTrip or SquareMouth to find the right fit for your journey.
